Donegal Voices first performed in 2015 and have by now established themselves as one of the premier choral groups in the North West. Their repertoire to date includes works by Beethoven, JS Bach, Elgar, Faure, Handel, Haydn, Lotti, Mozart and Vivaldi.
Under their new director, Evan McGarrigle, they bring yet another inspired programme to audiences this autumn. With soloists drawn from within their membership they will perform one of Mozart’s best loved shorter works Mass in C-Major, the only liturgical piece written by Messiaen, O Sacrum Convivium and Mendelssohn’s romantic biography of Christ Christus(Op.97) along with extracts from his grand oratorio Elijah
